Kayaking

If you have never tried kayaking or canoeing before, but have always fancied trying, then why not book in for one of our fun taster sessions. All equipment and instruction is provided – all you have to do is turn up and have fun!

For those of you who have already tried their hands at kayaking on flat water we can offer an introduction to white water on the River Irwell, which meanders through the site with numerous rapids providing some more challenging fun.

We also offer longer introduction to white water courses which cover all aspects of how to paddle up to grade two rivers, including strokes and timing, reading the river, river safety and equipment.

All our taster sessions and courses are tailor made to meet the needs of our clients and can even cover more advanced skills such as nailing breakouts, river leadership and even basic river play. Individual feedback from our expert coaches will give you the opportunity to tweak your skills and take your paddling to the next level.
